“眼红”，看见别人有名有利或有好的东西时非常羡慕、忌妒（be envious; be jealous），与英文俗语“green with envy”意思相近，表示“full of desire for someone's possessions or advantages; extremely covetous”。“眼红”也指“愤怒的样子（furious）”。
