There is a car race near our town every year. In 1995, there was a very big race.
1）注意There is a前后两两可以连读。
2）注意near our前后可以连读，其中near中的r因为后面紧跟元音，所以要发音。
3）注意如果读得快的话，town和every前后也可以连读。
4）注意was a前后可以连读。
5）注意big中的g会发生爆破音的消失现象。

There were hundreds of people there. My wife and I were at the race. Our friends Julie and Jack were there, too. You can see us in the crowd. We are standing on the left.
1）注意hundreds of前后可以连读。
2）注意My wife and I前后两两可以连读。
3）注意were at前后可以连读。
4）注意at中的t会发生爆破音的消失现象。
5）注意and Jack中and中的d会发生爆破音的消失现象。
6）注意如果读得快的话，us in前后可以连读。
7）注意如果读得快的话，standing on前后可以连读。

There were twenty cars in the race. There were English cars, French cars, German cars, Italian cars, American cars and Japanese cars.

1）注意It was中的t可以作爆破音的额消失处理，也可以和后面的w前后一起连读作[tw]。
2）注意was an exciting前后两两可以连读。
3）注意Stewart中的第一个t要浊化为[d]。
4）注意was in前后可以连读。
5）注意Five other前后可以连读。
6）注意just中的t会发生爆破音的消失现象。
7）注意behind him中的d可以作爆破音的消失处理，也可以直接与后面的him作击穿连读处理，即d和-im直接连起来读，h不发音。

On the way home, my wife said to me, 'Don't drive so quickly! You're not Billy Stewart!'
1）注意said中的d会发生 爆破音的消失现象。
2）注意Don't中的t会发生爆破音的消失现象。
3）注意not中的t会发生爆破音的消失现象。
