高铁速度快、载客率高、舒适方便，是很多人的出行选择。但是你有没有发现，在零点到凌晨六点这段时间内，高铁是禁止运行的。
这到底是为什么呢？原因很简单，原来是高铁在夜间需要检修。
工务段要对线路进行检查，供电段要对供电设备（如供电网）进行检查，信号段要对信号进行检查，动车组也要回库进行检修和维护。高铁的各项设备都必须进行检修，这样才能保证乘客的人身安全。
有人提出疑问，难道就不能一段路封锁检修，另一段路继续运行吗？真的不能。
这是因为高铁速度很快，对检修的提出了很高的要求，同时也给检修人员带来很大的风险，甚至工人就算是拉着防护栏也会被吹走。我们的安全出行，多亏了这些夜间检修的工作人员。
