AUTOEXPRESS 做了一系列测试评选出优秀轮胎。其中大部分的品牌是大家熟悉的，如米其林，固特异等。不过测试和评选是基于英国的气候路面情况。下面来看下大概的评测内容和结果。

如何测试
多变的英国天气意味着四季胎作为应付雨，雪，干燥气候的一站式解决方案正在越来越得到消费者的青睐。但是，对于我们的气候，湿地表现才是测试的核心。
Wet
我们的测试评估直线和侧向抓地力，还有轮胎如何应付深水。使用大陆公司的轨道系统，以每小时80公里的速度刹车测试， 这个系统确保了每次使用相同的轨道，提升了一致性。
侧向抓地力在57.5米的圆环柏油路面测试。车辆靠近内圈并加速。
深水能力的级别体现在直线和转弯处。在衡量纵向打滑时，车轮在水中的转速比在干燥路面上的转速大15%。在侧向测试中，车辆在环形柏油积水路面加速行驶。这些因素合在一起，最后的结果基于单圈的时间。
Snow
湿地测试至关重要，在雪地中的表现也很重要。Auto Express 驾驶员通过衡量减速距离评估牵引力和刹车
像湿地评估一样，侧向抓地力在环形场地和围绕操作轨道测试。采用和湿地测试同样的技术，测试在爬坡和下坡时轮胎的抓地力和平衡。
Dry
以100公里每小时刹停来衡量刹车，完成的项目所用的时间被用来衡量过弯抓地力和评估平衡。
所有的刹车，滑水和过弯的结果都是多重测试的平均值，不合格的结果都被省略了。
Noise
我们在三个面分别是平滑和粗糙柏油面以及混凝土板上以50公里每小时减速滑行，使用测音仪测试噪音水平。这不应该和EU轮胎标签的噪音级别相混淆，EU的级别是关于通过噪音，双方没有直接的关联。
Fuel economy
滚动阻力是评估的核心，因为它衡量了每个载重轮胎滚动所需动力。轮胎越容易滚动，所需的动力和燃油越少。5%滚动阻力的变化将有大约1%的燃油消耗。
Price
价格在整个测试中影响很小。
