这是中国陆地面积最大的县，若羌县位于新疆东南部，与甘肃、青海、西藏三省区接壤，是塔克拉玛干、库木塔格、库鲁克三大沙漠环绕下的绿洲，行政面积20.23万平方公里，是中国陆地面积最大的县，还是全国红枣产业发展龙头县、全国绿色小康县、国家级电子商务进农村示范县、全国文明城市提名县。
