一、基数词：
1.含义：表示数目的多少
2.构成：
（1）0～12各自独立，需强记.
one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve.
（2）13～19以-teen结尾，
特殊：thirteen, fifteen, eighteen
一般：fourteen, sixteen, seventeen, nineteen
（3）20～90整十数，以-ty结尾，
特殊：twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, eighty
一般：sixty, seventy, ninety
（4）两位数(几十几)，整十数＋连字符＋个位数，
twenty-one, thirty-two, forty-three，fifty-four, sixty-five, seventy-six, eighty-seven, ninety-eight
（5）三位数(几百几)，个位数＋hundred and＋末尾两位数或末位数。
例如：215：two hundred and fifteen
（6）多位数，从右向左每隔三位数加一个逗号，依次为thousand, million, billion。
例如：89,999,866,266：eighty-nine billion, nine hundred and ninety-nine million, eight hundred and sixty-six thousand, two hundred and sixty-six
二、序数词：
含义：表示顺序先后的数词
构成： （1）第一：first;第二：second;第三：third
（2）从第四到十九：在相应的基数词后加上后缀-th构成。要注意其中的fifth,eighth,ninth,twelfth的拼写。
（3）第20到第90：整十数字的序数词构成：先将相应的整十数字的基数词词尾-ty中的y改成ie，然后再加上后缀-th，如：twenty---twentieth。
（4）表示第几十几的序数词，十位数用基数词，个位数用序数词，如：the thirty first表示第31。
三、分数、小数、百分数：
1.分数
口诀：分子基，分母序，分子大于1，分母加s。例如：1/3 one third，2/3 two thirds
2.小数
点 “.”用point，例如：one point six 1.6
3.百分数
百分号“%”用percent，例如：fifty percent 50%
四、年份和日期：
英国和美国稍有不同，英国通常表示为“日—月—年”，美国通常表示为“月—日—年”。如：“1985年10月10日”可表示为 October 10, 1985(美)或10(th) October, 1985(英)。
用法：
（1）英语中的“日”可以采用基数词和序数词两种形式。例如： March 1也可以写成March 1st；May 29也可以写成May 29th。但是，日期的读法只能用序数词的形式。
（2）英语中的“年”用基数词表示，读法有下列几种情形：
☆一般情况下，将表示年份的四个数字按前后分为两组，每一组的数字都按基数词来读，如：
1865年读作 eighteen sixty-five
☆如果是整百的年，后面的两个“零”读为 hundred，如：1900年读作 nineteen hundred
☆十位数字上为“零”，该“零”读为字母 O 的发音，如：1809年读作 eighteen O nine
☆关于千年的一些读法，如：2000年读作 two thousand；2008年读作 two thousand and eight 或 O eight
☆三位以内数字的年份，一般是按照基数词的方法来读，如：531 BC 读作 five hundred (and) thirty-one BC
五、时间和钟点
1.整点：数词后加o’clock，例如：five o’clock 5：00
2.几点过几分：分钟数≤30分，例如：twenty-five past six 6：25 half past six 6：30
1. 几点差几分： 分钟数≥30分，例如：a quarter to seven 6：45 ten to seven 6：50
六、编号的表达
1.常见的编号分类：几号、几页、第几课、几号房间、电话号码。
2.编号的表达：
（1）几号：number 11/No. 11
（2）几页：Page 8/the 8th page/P. 8
（3）第几课：Lesson 3/the 3rd lesson/L.3
（4）几号房间：Room 203/Rm.203
（5）电话号码：21305678/直接读基数词，0读o。
