很多同学都觉得选词填空是非常难的题目，因为单词不认识，文章读不懂，就没办法拿到分数，但是其实选词填空一共占比5%，所以我们只需要在短时间之内答对3~4个左右的分数就ok了。
好，那我们来看一下，怎么才能在短时间之内作对3~ 4道题呢?
首先，我们要注意做题顺序。记住10字黄金法则:先单词后文章低频优先。
选词填空拿到题目不是先看文章而是先看选词填空后面的15个备选词，以2016年12月的一篇选词填空为例。我们先来看一下备选词。

拿到备选词，先找出来出现频次比较低的的词或者考查比较相近的词。
通过筛查，大家可以发现，名词复数heights只考了一处，而同样可以表示这种测量单位的还有depth和level, 那么这之中必然会产生正确答案。再看其中还有combined和mixed这两个有动词ed变形的，一般出现这种词，文章中会出现插人语结构来填入。
我们不妨来试着找一下这篇文章有没有可以填的空。

通过读文章，大家可以看出来，第28个空 raising sea ， 此处可以填一个名词与sea相搭配，我们可以选择是heights高度，level平面，或者depth。但是我们仔细观察这个空格前是raise提升，那么可以搭配的是提升海平面，因此填人level。
然后再顺着往下读，会发现第32个空， with computer simulations( 计算机模拟)，插入语结构，考虑填人两个ed形式的动词之一，combine表示结合，mix表示混合，很显然文章想说结合计算机模拟，因此填人combined。
接下来我们会看到第34个空，a __ of, 这是常见的of结构，此处肯定填入名词单数，而后面是 700 meters，那应该填一个表示高度的名词，通过筛选，heights是复数不合适，因此填depth。
当当当当!这样我们就可以不用读完全文章，只看空格的结构，只考虑低频单词的选择，就可以分分钟搞定这几个得分点啦!
