英语使用常见错误
在学习英语过程中，很大的障碍之一就是我们习惯中文文法，我们在写或说时很容易受到中文的影响，出现错误。如何避免错误，要做到记清楚，细心再细心。请往下看:
【1】below/under
It's raining now .Come and stand below my umbrella.❎
It's raining now. Come and stand under my umbrella.✔️
下雨了，站到我的雨伞下面吧！
below something是指在某物的下方位置，不确定
under something是直接在某物的之下或受其保护之一。
Can you imagine it being twenty five degrees under zero outside ?❎
Can you imagine it being twenty five degrees below zero outside?✔️
你能想象外面现在是零下25度吗？
below zero 意为在0度以下，是固定用法，0度以上是above zero。
在某人的帮助下，是with the help of somebody不是under the help of somebody
【2】belong
The dictionary belongs to that shelf.❎
the dictionary belongs on that shelf.✔️
这本词典应该放在那个书架上。belong on /in 是归于某个地方
belong to somebody是属于某人
The guitar belongs to her。
这个吉它是她的。
Please go back where you belong to.❎
please go back where you belong .
请回到属于你的地方吧。√
belong here/ there/ where不加to是固定用法
【3】beware
Be aware of the dog， it might bite. ❎
Beware of the dog ，it might bite.√
要提防那只狗，它可能会咬人。
be aware of=know意思是知道或者是了解，如:
Nobody was aware of the seriousness of the matter.
当时没有人知道这件事的严重性。
beware of是叫人提防某人或某物，常用于祈使句。
【4】:believe
You shouldn't believe everything you read.√
You shouldn't believe in everything you read.❎
你不应该对读到的东西全都相信。
believe something确信某事为真
I believe nothing she says.
我不相信她的任何一句话。
believe in somebody/ something是相信某人物的存在
Do you believe in God?
你相信有上帝吗？
believe somebody是相信某人所说的话
I don't believe her， it can't be ture.
我不相信她的话，那不可能是真的。
believe in somebody有信赖某人的能力和人格的意思
The people want a president they can believe in.
人民想要一个可信赖的总统。
You have got to believe in yourself or you will never succeed.
你必须相信自己，否则你永远不会成功。
believe in doing sth相信某事或某物有益，或者是有效
They believe in letting children make their own mistakes.
他们相信让孩子犯点错误，对他们有益处。
