"I'm bored," you said soon after we got to the small central plaza of the nearby park. But shortly after for you a light appeared at the end of the tunnel. The sight of a small kite-holding girl instantly perked you up. You freed your kite from my grasp and stuck around that girl, trying to excite her attention, but she remained noncommittal for quite a while.
刚到附近公园的小中央广场你就说，“我觉得没意思。”不久，对你而言情况便有了转机的迹象。看见一个拿风筝的女孩，你立刻从我手上拽过你的风筝，然后跑到那个女孩旁边转悠，希望她能主意到你，可是有好一阵子她都没表现出想要跟你玩儿的意思。
"Yunduo'er, look, she's not interested, you can go somewhere else," I reminded you. I sometimes wonder if you feel lonely with mummy and daddy so outside you are always on the lookout for some reassuring company while turning your back on us.
“云朵儿，你看，她没兴趣，还是走吧，”我提醒你。我有时都怀疑你是不是跟爸爸妈妈感到孤独，所以在外面总是觉得别人好而不理我和妈妈。
"But I want to find my best friend," you said. Some time later, your efforts paid off - you and that girl buddied up to each other. You ran frantically on the plaza and invited your new friend to pedal your bike.
“可我想找个好朋友，”你说。过了一会儿，你的努力终于有了结果：你跟那个女孩儿玩儿上了。你在广场上猛跑，让新朋友骑你的自行车。
Two hours later, you said you wanted to go back home. Your face had flushed - you must have sweated buckets. Your aluminum steed schlepped a pooped out girl back home.
两个小时后，你说想回家。你的脸通红通红的，你一定出了很多汗。你现在是真累了，骑着你的金属坐骑回家了。
