绘本赏析
Once, there was a little penguin called Perry.
从前，有只小企鹅，他的名字叫Perry。
Perry and his family lived at the South Pole.
Perry全家都住在南极呢。
It was always very cold.
南极可冷啦。
One day, Perry found a box.
一天，Perry发现了一个盒子。
He saw something yummy inside.
他看到盒子里有好吃的。
But he was too cold to eat it.
但是他太冷啦，没法吃它。
Perry went to see his grandpa.
于是Perry去找爷爷了。
"I need to get warm, grandpa," he said.
“我得暖和起来，爷爷。”他说。
"Try skating," said Grandpa. "That will warm you up."
“试试滑雪呀，”爷爷说，“那可以让你暖和起来。”
Perry went to the frozen lake.
Perry去到了结冻的冰湖上。
He skated up and down...
他在冰面上滑呀滑……
...and round and round.
滑过来，滑过去。
He skated all morning.
滑了整整一个早上呢。
"Are you warm, now?"
“现在你暖和起来了吗？”
"N...no," said Perry.
“没…还没有呢。”Perry说。
Perry went to see his grandma.
Perry又去找奶奶。
"I need to get warm, Grandma," he said.
“我想要暖和起来，奶奶。”他说。
"Try swimming," said Grandma. "That will warm you up."
“试试游泳呀，”奶奶说，“肯定能让你暖和起来。”
Perry dived into the water.
Perry扑通一声，跳进了水里。
He swam up and down...
他在水里浮上来、潜下去…
...and round and round
.…并且游过来，游过去。
He swam all afternoon.
他游了整整一个下午的泳呢。
"Are you warm, now?"
“现在你可暖和起来了吧？”
"N....no," said Perry.
“没…还没有。”Perry说。
Perry went to see his sister, Pippi.
Perry又去找他的姐姐，Pippi啦。
"I need to get warm, Pippi," he said.
“我想要暖和起来，Pippi。”他说。
"Try sliding down the hill," said Pippi. "That will warm you up."
“试试在小山坡上滑滑梯呀，”Pippi说，“那肯定能让你暖和起来。”
"Okay."
“好的。”
Perry went to the top of the hill.
Perry去到了山坡顶。
He slid all the way down......and round and round.
他一路从山顶滑到山脚……并且转了好多圈圈。
"Wheeee!"
“哇呜~”
He slid around all evening.
他转了整整一个傍晚呢。
"Are you warm now?" everyone asked.“
现在你可暖和了吧？”每个人都问到。
"Yes, I'm boiling," said Perry.
“是的，我已经热得快熟啦！”Perry说。
"Now I can enjoy this ice cream," he said.
“现在我可以享受这份冰淇淋啦。”他说。
"Ah, lovely and cool."
“啊！真美味、真清凉！”
"Oh, Perry!"
“噢，Perry！”
