研究生考试备考中，最大的拦路虎莫过于公共科目的英语了。而考研英语备考中，最纠结的就是英语词汇要不要背了？考研英语，大纲规定需掌握的词汇量是5500个左右，当然这里面有些是我们高中高考已经记过的词汇，也有些是四六级里的词汇。因此这么来说，有些单词，我们就可不用背诵。

对于陌生词，我们可以背，但能记住其结构即可。也就是说，看到某一词汇，知道其意思即可，不一定非得强记怎么书写。考研英语试卷，真正让你写词汇的也就小作文和大作文，不到300个词汇量。其经过大学四年的本科教育，其实我们肯定会熟记一些，这些就没必要背，只要背其中的熟词生义。
