1．a little可用作形容词,直接修饰不可数名词; 而a bit不能用作形容词,修饰名词时,则常采用
“a bit of 不定冠词 名词”结构。
eg: Why not drink a little /a bit of orange juice? 为什么不喝点儿桔子汁呢？
Your friend is a bit of a chief. 你的朋友是一个小偷
2．当a little修饰的名词前有this,that以及所有格等限定词时,则用“a little of”结构。
3．两者的否定结构，意思相反，区别很大。
not a bit = not at all，意为“一点也不，根本不”
not a little= very much, 意为“非常，不是一点”
eg: He is not a bit happy. = He is not happy at all. 他一点都不开心。
He is not a little happy. 他高兴得不是一点点。（他太高兴了）
4．a bit of 的另一种形式是 bits of, a little 则没有这种变体。
eg: She noticed some bits of fluff on her sweater. 她发现羊毛衫上起了一些毛球。
5.a little bit 的意思是“一点点”，用法与 a bit相同。
eg: This made me feel a little bit better about myself. 这使我感觉好点了。
