大连大学（Dalian University）简称连大（DLU），为教育部卓越教师培养计划、国家大学生文化素质教育基地入选高校，CDIO工程教育联盟成员单位。 历史可以追溯到始建于1949年4月成立的大连大学，1948年3月成立的关东文法专门学校、1950年10月成立的旅大市卫生学校。1987年10月，大连大学、大连师范专科学校、大连市卫生学校三校合一，组建新的大连大学。 截至2018年3月，学校占地面积124.6万平方米；设有25个学院，2所三级甲等附属医院，64个本科专业，21个一级学术硕士学位授予点；有教职工6455人（含2所附属医院），全日制在校生16000余人（含研究生1000余人）。
