十二个频度副词的排序，从高到低是这样的：ever, always, frequently, usually, often, sometimes, occasionally, seldom, rarely, hardly, once, never.
ever, “始终，总是”的意思，频度百分之百。不过它常用于否定句，这时候相当于never，而且语气更加强烈。比如：Nothing ever did he but got all. 他啥都没做，却得到了所有。（暗含不满，带有强烈的主观感情色彩）
ever也可以做“曾经”用，这时频度的概念不强。
always，“总是，一直”等意思，频度接近百分之百。比如：The Earth always goes around the Sun. 地球一直绕着太阳转。
