秒杀词根词缀的方法（记不住单词怎么办）

拿着单词列表按顺序背单词又枯燥又低效，往往背到abandon就放弃了，再到abortion就流产了。即便能坚持天天背，背完没两天又忘了。那有没有更高效的方法呢？

其实英语单词跟汉语一样是有偏旁部首的，只要记住它们，遇到不会的单词就可以猜，所以要记的东西就大大减少了。这些偏旁部首就是词根词缀，因为英语融合了各种语言，比如希腊语、拉丁语、法语、德语，所以词根也来自不同的语言，根据词根在源语言中的意思来解释英语单词意思的方法叫词源学。按照词源学记单词又快又有意思。

原始印欧语词根kap-意思为“抓住”，在英语中演化为词根cap、cip、cept、ceive、cup，意思为“获取、掌握、抓住”，本期学习这个词根。

cap

1. capable，[ˈkeɪpəbl]，adj. cap抓住 able能够，有能力的，有才干的。

He appeared hardly capable of conducting a coherent conversation. 他看起来几乎没有能力进行连贯的谈话。

2. captivate，[ˈkæptɪveɪt]，v. 迷住，使……着迷。

Sometimes a young man can be captivated by a young woman's charms. 年轻男子有时会被年轻女子的魅力所吸引。

3. capture，[ˈkæptʃə(r)]，vt. 俘获；夺得；

cip

1. anticipate，[ænˈtɪsɪpeɪt]，v. anti=ante先 cip获取 ate动词后缀，事先获取，预料，预期。

2. participate，[pɑːˈtɪsɪpeɪt]，vi. part部分 cip获取 ate动词后缀，取得一部分，参与，参加。

3. incipient，[ɪnˈsɪpiənt]，adj. 早期的，开始的，刚出现的。

cept

1. concept，[ˈkɒnsept]，n. con一起 cep掌握，观念，概念。
