刚刚说完了work和下班等英文表达，那大白再来说说一个跟上班族关系很密切的东西，就是“电脑 computer”，每天来到公司，坐下来的第一件事情就是打开电脑，开始办公，那你知道“打开电脑”该怎么说吗？
有小伙伴说，那还不容易，不就是“Open the computer”，哈哈哈～虽然说“打开电脑”英文是一个很简单的表达，但是还是会有很多人弄错。
我们要知道“Open the computer”是指把电脑拆开的那种，我们每天工作可不是这么暴力的哈～这里的Open就用的不适合。
你可以说
open the book
open the box
open the door
open the window
open the fridge
但是“遥控&开关类”设备的“打开”，如开电脑、开电视、开灯、开空调、开淋雨头/花洒就不可以用 Open 了
这是典型的Chinglish中式英语，同理，这类物件的“关闭”也不能说 close sth.!
正确的“打开”应该是：
01、Turn on/off“开启/ 关闭”Do you mind turning on/off the A/C?
你介意打开/关掉空调吗？
Turn on your computer and I'll show you.
打开电脑，我教你。
02、Switch on/ switch off“开启/ 关闭”She emptied both their mugs and switched on the electric kettle.
她倒空了他们俩的杯子，然后打开了电水壶。
Switch off your music or I'll kick your ass.
把这烦人的音乐给我关了！
Don't forget to switch off the light when you leave
一会儿走得时候别忘了关灯。
电脑用久了多少会出点毛病，那“电脑坏了”是不是 Computer is broken？也不是。
Broken 指“打碎、打破”如果你这么说，别人会认为你电脑是摔地上砸坏了，最好是描述具体故障。
比如：
（1）Picture's frozen“画面卡住了”
（2）Frozen“死机、黑屏”
（3）do not work“死机、黑屏”
