副词的位置
1、大多数副词可以放在它所修饰的动词后面 We are living happily.我们幸福地生活着。The farmers are working hard in the field.农民正在田里辛勤劳动。 2、频率副词一般位于所修饰的动词之前,be动词、情态动词、助动词之后 He usually comes early.他通常来得早。He is seldom late.他很少迟到。The English song has never been heard.这首英文歌从来没有人听过。 注意:① 有时为了加强语气,频率副词也可以放在句首或句末Sometimes she goes to school by bus and sometimes she goes to school by bike.有时她乘公共汽车上学,有时骑自行车去。I get paid on Fridays usually.我通常在星期五领工资。 ② very often( 往往 )和 quite often( 常常 ) 这两个词组不放在动词前,必须放在句末或句首Very often the weather was too bad for us to go out.往往是这样,天气很糟糕,我们不能出去。When l was in London,l met Mr. Green quite often.我在伦敦时,常常见到格林先生。 3、already, yetonce, nearly, almostjust, really, certainlysuddenly, soon, still 等副词所在的位置与频率副词相同 We have already finished our homework.我们已经写完作业了。 4、时间副词、地点副词和方式副词一般放在句末 They went to the park yesterday.昨天他们去公园了。I heard him sing English songs over there.我听见他在那边唱英文歌。He carried the eggs carefully.他小心翼翼地搬着鸡蛋。 注意:有时表示时间的副词也可放在句首,起强调作用Yesterday I got up late.昨天我起床很晚。 5、否定副词一般放在行为动词之前、系动词be或助动词之后 He seldom goes out at night.他晚上很少出门。We had hardly got to the station when the train left.火车离开时,我们差不多/几乎到了车站。 注意:seldom, hardly, never 有时也可位于句首,但要用倒装语序Never have I seen such a thing before.我之前从来没见过这样的事。 6、用来修饰形容词和副词的副词要放在被修饰的形容词和副词之前 It is a very big house.那是一座很大的房子。She walks rather slowly.她走得相当慢。The story is quite instructive.这故事很有教育意义。 注意:在强调副词中,enough 很特别,它通常放在所修饰的形容词和副词的后面The book is easy enough for little kids.这本书对小孩来说足够容易。She speaks Chinese fluently enough.她的中文说得足够流利。 7、疑问副词、连接副词和关系副词都位于句首或从句之首 That's why I didn't go to school yesterday.那就是我昨天没去学校的原因。What are you going to do when you grow up?长大后,你打算干什么? 8、only, even, perhaps 等副词的位置非常灵活 Perhaps you are right.=You are perhaps right.也许你是对的。 注意:副词位置对句意的影响。有时副词位置的不同会导致句子意义的改变 Only I kissed her last night.昨晚只有我吻了她。( 即别人没吻她 )I only kissed her last night.我昨晚只是吻了她。( 即没干别的事 )I kissed only her last night.昨晚我吻的只有她。( 即没吻过别人 )I kissed her only last nigh.我只是在昨晚吻了她。( 其他时候未吻过 ) Jim alone went there.只有吉姆去了那儿。( alone 位于被修饰的名词或代词后,意为“只有”)Tom went there alone.吉姆一个人去了那儿。( alone 在此修饰动词 come,意为“独自”)
