1. Turn off: 关闭(水源,煤气,电灯等)
Don`t forget to turn all the lights off before you go to bed
睡觉之前不要忘记关闭所有的灯。
2. Turn on: 打开(电灯，自来水，收音机)
Please turn the electric fan on
请打开电风扇。
3. Turn down: 调小点（些），而不是完全关闭
We usually turn down the heat before go to bed
睡觉前我们通常把暖气调低一些。
4. Turn up:调大点（些）
Turn the radio up so that the students at the back can also hear clearly
把收音机的音量调大一些，以便后排的学生也能听清楚。

1. Wonder at something: 对某事或者某物感到惊奇，惊讶，惊叹
We all wondered at the speed at which he progressed on his study
我们都对他学习进步的速度感到惊讶。
2. Wonder about something: 想弄明白某事，想知道某事
She was wondering about their Wedding anniversary in next month.
她在想他们下个月的结婚纪念日。
3. No wonder: 难怪
No wonder you can`t control you temper.
怪不得你控制不了脾气。
4. Be worried about somebody/something: 为某人或者某事担心
He was worried about his health.
他担心自己的健康。

1. Lose weight: 减轻体重
He is losing weight
他正在减肥。
2. Put on weight : 增加体重
He has put on a lot of weight since he stopped doing sports.
他停止运动后体重增加了很多。
3. Think about: 思考，考虑
I am thinking about paying a visit to Hong Kong
我正在考虑去香港旅游。
4. Think of : 考虑，想起，想出
You can`t expect me to think of everything
你不能指望我什么都能想到。
5. Think over :仔细考虑
Please think over what I have said
请仔细考虑我说的话。

1. Be tired of : 对…厌烦
I am tired of your comments
我听腻了你的评论。
2. Lose one`s way: 迷路
I lost my way yesterday
我昨天迷路了。
3. Try to do something: 努力做某事
He is trying to solve the problem
他正在努力解决问题。
4. Try doing something: 试着做某事。
I am trying cooking by myself
我正试着自己做饭。
5. Try one`s best : 尽某人最大努力。
I try my best to learn English
我尽最大的努力学习英语。
