“车牌号”英语不是“car number”，这样说老外完全听不懂！
"车牌号"英语怎么说呢？
"车牌号"在英语里有专门的表达:
license plate number
车牌号
license ['laɪsns] 执照, 许可证
plate [pleɪt] (印有文字或数字的)金属牌; 车牌
number ['nʌmbə] 数字
这样看, 是不是一目了然了？
例句:
What's your license plate number?
你的车牌号是多少?
It's illegal to cover you license
plate number when you're driving.
开车时覆盖掉车牌号是违法的。

美国驾照: driver license/driver's license
英国驾照: driving licence
国内驾照上也是Driving licence, 和英式的相同。

A sight more
在口语表达中，a sight more (of something)可以用来表示 “更多的……”。比如，用have a sight more of… 指 “有足够的，大量的……”。
