Listen to both sides and you will be wise.
从善如登，从恶如崩。
From the good like ascend, from the evil like collapse.
救寒莫知重裘，止谤莫如自修。
Better to save a cold than a fine coat, better to slander than self-study.
爱之不以道，适所以害之也。
Love is not to Tao, suitable for so harm is.
君子能勤小物，故无大患。
A gentleman is good at small things, so he has no trouble.
不痴不聋，不作家翁。

吴王好剑客，百姓多创瘢；楚王好细腰，宫中多饿死。

责其所难，则其易者不劳而正；补其所短，则其长者不劝而遂。
Responsibility for its difficult, the easy is not hard. Make up its shortcomings, its elders do not persuade and succeed.
惟贤惟德，可以服人。
Only virtuous, can convince people.
丈夫一言许人，千金不易。
A man’s one word allows him, not easy for thousand gold.
行一不义，杀一无罪，而得天下，仁者不为也。
Do an unrighteous, kill a innocent, and get the world, the benevolence does not do that.
非信无以使民，非民无以守国。

圣人之官人，犹匠之用木也，取其所长，弃其所短。

言善非难，行善为难。
