My name is Aaron and I'm 16 years old.我叫亚伦，我今年16岁了。
I live in Sydney, Australia.

It is always sunny here, and we have lots of beaches.
这里阳光明媚，还有许多的海滩。
Our summers are always very hot.

Often, the temperature reaches 40
degrees!温度通常达到40度！
1.1mate可数名词，朋友;伙伴;(男人之间常用)哥儿们，伙计，老兄;同伴;同事等。
1.2beach可数名词，海滩。
1.3reach及物动词①达到
The number of sth./sb. reaches 基数词，……的数字达到……
②够得着（某物）reach the apples on the tree够树上的苹果。
③到达，后直接跟地点名词，
reach 地点
=arrive in/at 地点名词／arive 地点副词
=get to 地点名词/get 地点副词。
1.4degree可数名词，度数，度，表示具体的度数时用“基数词 degrees”
40 degrees centigrade 40℃。
特殊形式:zero degrees零度，degree也要加s。
2 Seasons in Australia are different from seasons in many other countries.澳大利亚的季节和许多其他国家的季节不同。
Summers here go from December to February.这里的夏季从12月到来年的2月。
Our winter is from June to August.
冬季从6月到8月。
Summer is my favourite season.
夏季是我最喜欢的季节。
I don't have to wear shoes!

We wear shorts and go to the sea every day.我们每天穿短裤去海边。

2.1be different from...与……不同。
be the same as...与……相同。

有些名词只有复数形式，不能被具体的数字修饰。如:
trousers裤子，clothes 衣服
shorts 短裤，goods 商品
glasses 眼镜，socks 短袜

Surfing is very popular here.

4.3surf er→surfer名词，冲浪运动员。

5"G'day mate" is a common Australian greeting!
“G'day mate”是澳大利亚一种普遍的问候语。
"G'day" is short for "Good day" and"mate" is another way of saying "friend."You try it！“G'day”是“Good day”的缩写，“mate”是“friend”的另一种说法。你试一试。
5.1a common greeting一个普通的问候语。
5.2be short for...是……的简称/缩写。
TV is short for television.
5.3for short简写，缩写，常在句尾作状语。for前面是简写形式。
People usually call him Jim for short.人们通棠简称他为Jim。
5.4another way of doing sth.做某事的另一种方法。
a way to do sth.=a way of doing sth.做某事的一种方法。
