1. dead as a dodo：过时了，死透了
be (as) dead as a/the dodo，这个短语多用于日常交流或作为俚语使用。它起源于渡渡鸟已经不存在的事实。渡渡鸟是一种生活在毛里求斯岛上的鸟。它有点像火鸡，不会飞，所以被猎杀到灭绝。
