一、such的用法
1、such修饰单数名词，放在a/an前面，若名词前有one，no，any，some，all，many等修饰时，such放在这些修饰词之后。
He's such a man. 他就是这么一个人。
There is no such thing. 没有这么一回事。
2、such位于句首，句子倒装，谓语动词的单复数根据其后的名词决定。
Such is my hope for the future. 我对未来的希望就是这样。
Such were the facts. 事实就是这样。
3、such……that……句型，用于从句不缺句子成分。
意思是：如此……以至于……
He is such a good teacher that all the students like him.
他是如此好的一个老师，导致所有学生都喜欢他。
上面这句不缺句子成分，所以用that引导。
4、such……as……句型，用于从句缺句子成分。
He is such a good teacher as we expect.
和我们所料的一样，他是一位好老师。
上面这句的从句缺宾语，所以用as引导。
5、such相关短语1：as such 按照某词通用的词义、本身
I can't call my book a best seller as such but it's very popular.我不敢说我的书是畅销书，但可以说很受欢迎。
Money as such will seldom br ing happiness. 金钱本身很少带来幸福。

There are few poets such as Keats and Shelly. 像济慈和雪莱这样的诗人现在很少了。
二、also、too、either和as well
1、两者都有“也”的意思
also 后是中位状语，放在行为动词前 (also do)、跟在系动词后 (be also或夹在助动词/情态动词与动词之间 (如 can also do)。
too 是末位状语，一般放在一句话的最后。通常用于肯定句或疑问句，一般不用于否定句。
The lady washed the children and also gave them dinner.
那位女士给孩子们洗了澡，还请他们吃饭
He can sing and dance, too.
他又会唱歌又会跳舞。
either(也)通常只用于否定句，且要放在句末。
I don't know, either. 我也不知道。
I am going to London and my sister is going as well。
我要到伦敦去，我妹妹也要去。
三、work与job
work指劳动，job指工作。
I can't work if I'm cold.
我要是觉得冷就干不了活。
He's trying to get a job.
他正在找工作。
四、silly/stupid/foolish
三个词都含有“蠢”的意思，但略有不同。stupid 所表达的程度最强，指智力、理解力和学习能力差；silly指头脑简单、傻头傻脑，使人觉得可笑，带有一定的感情色彩；foolish是普通用语，尤其是在口语中广泛使用。
He is stupid in learning math.
他学数学很笨。
Stop asking such silly questions.
别再问这样傻的问题了。
You are foolish to throw away such a good chance.
你真蠢，丢掉这么好的一个机会。
