霜劲利如刀，朝朝刈我袍。
垂裳怜瘦影，对月度长宵。
藕臂泥间白，莲心水上漂。
谁言生意尽，不复旧妖娆？
肖和元，1960年代出生，企业员工，现居长沙。年轻时做过文学梦。不想老之将至，却焕发童心，重拾诗歌，陶冶性情。
XIAO Heyuan, born in 1960s, is an enterprise employee in Changsha, Hunan Province. He had dreamed of being a litterateur in his early age. Growing older, he has brought back his dream of writing poems for self cultivation.
The Withered Lotus

The frost bites like a knife so keen，
As cuts my robe at dawn, pure white.
Clothes loose, I wail my figure lean;
Looking at the moon, I spend the night.
The lotus root’s white under mud;
Her tender heart does float above.
Who says she will no longer bud,
Showing no charm, having no love?
