spend pay take cost 的区别
1.spend 指花时间或金钱干某事，以人为主语，后常带介词 on 或者in ，in可以省略。过去式是spent。

2.pay 主要指花钱干某事，以人为主语，经常和介词for 连用，过去式是paid

3.cost 一般是指花金钱、时间、劳力干某事，以物为主语，可带双宾. 过去式 cost
sth. cost（s） sb. some money(time）
The book cost me ten yuan.
4.take 花费时间干某事，它一般以it做形式主语，过去式是took。
It takes sb. some time to do sth.
例如：It took me half an hour to swim in the swimming pool yesterday.
