3月12日是我国的植树节，今年是我国的第42个植树节。我国的植树节最早在1915年由凌道扬和韩安、裴义理等林学家倡议书立。新中国成立后，在邓小平的提议下，将每年的3月12日设立为我国的植树节。旨在宣导植树造林的重要性，倡导环境保护、生态保护。
