去海边玩，一般是在沙滩上吹吹海风，在海里游游泳。seaside表面上是海边的意思，但具体指海边的城镇；

在沙滩上玩耍≠play on the beach
on the beach=在沙滩上(具体的位置就在沙滩上)
at the beach=在海边的范围 (包括海水和沙滩)

hang out=出去玩，出去浪
play比较适合小孩子，成人说play together,有可能被误会哦
