the other的用法比较固定，包含两层意思：
1. the表示特定的，不是随便的。
2. other表示其他的，相当于形容词，后面要加名词的，不能单独使用。
我们同学往往会记得the other 名词单数，表示两个中的另一个。但实际上，the other 还可以加名词复数，表示两批中的另一批（一般翻译成余下所有），相当于把一个整体分成了两个部分。
于是，我们得出以下结论：
1. the other无论加单数还是复数，都相当于把原来的事物“一分为二”，先说一个（或一部分），然后再说另一个（或另一部分）
2. the other加单数也可以，加复数也可以。只是翻译不同，但根本逻辑是相同的。

答案：C。题干中的speakers是一个整体，some是一些，some与余下的speakers一起构成了一个整体。some是一部分，余下的speakers是另一部分。构成两批之中的另一批的概念，因此用the other。
