"What are you painting?" I asked, bending down, when seeing you hunched over your work in rapt fascination and with daunting eagerness. "Daddy," you answered. "Are you sure that is daddy?" I continued. "I'm sure," you replied. A child prodigy, how do you know what Martians look like and when do you think I got here from Mars？May I ask?
“你画什么呢？”看看见你弓着身子坐在那儿，那叫专心，那叫投入，我于是俯下身问道。“画的是爸爸，”你回答。“你确定那是爸爸吗？”我又问。“确定，”你说。真是个神童。你怎么知道火星人的长相？那你觉得我又是什么时候从火星来的呢？请问。
Then you went back to the drawing board and put yourself out to do a new painting, which featured you, mummy and me together, with 5 suns for company. "This is Yunduo'er," you drew my attention to a figure at the bottom. I was wondering why I was smaller in stature than you were. But the most remarkable discovery was that I was in fact marveling at a party thrown by three Martians.
接着你另起炉灶从头来，不辞辛苦又画了一个新的，这回有你、妈妈和我在一起，守着五个太阳。“这是云朵儿，”你指着底部的一个小人给我看。我纳闷儿为什么我的个儿头比你还低。不过能看出一点很不寻常：这是三个火星人在聚会呀。惊艳！
