王在邶的画中，我不由自主寻找着战马，它在哪里，不同于以往所见的传统的战马，而是影跡几无，但它崩发出的精神能量场雄浑不可抵挡，战马奔腾，千钧一发，刺激着时代蒌糜的精神失血的氛围，它的咏叹调你很难想象是从一位老人发出，王在邶胸中含蕴千钧万马，如此观待世界，是中国曾经风起云涌的狼图腾精神的承续，近些年狼精神湮灭了，但有战马突围，在这个记忆遥远的时代战马往往也遥不可及了，但它的精神承载的绘画通过王在邶仍然没有消失，反而赋予了浓重的现代性构成，那强悍的色块和人类不屈不挠的原生力，仍然在呼唤吶喊着重建战马的图腾，偏冷的色调反衬出画家的激越豪情，一种人类关于自由的天然律令，永无止息，不断复苏。（ 策展人：谭念一 ）
