二、11-23的序数词 序数词的简写
eleventh, twelfth, thirteenth, fourteenth, fifteenth,sixteenth,seventeenth,eighteenth, nineteenth,twentieth, twenty-first, twenty-secone, twenty-third
其拼写规则可以总结为以下顺口溜：（红色字体部分：黑色字体为解释）
基变序，有规律，词尾加上-th 。
(基数词变成序数词的大规律是词尾加-th ，也就是我们经常看到的缩写词4th ，5th 等等)
一，二，三，特殊记，词尾字母t ，d ，d 。
(1,2,3的序数词为first, second, third, 是十分特别的)
八去t ，
(8,eight的序数词为eighth)
九除e ，
(9,nine的序数词为ninth )
ve 要用f 替，
(以ve 结尾的数词，要将ve 替换成f 。如，5,five 的序数词为fifth ;12,twelve 的序数词为twelfth)
若是碰到几十几，前用基来后用序。
(两位数变序数词的规则为，十位基数词，个位序数词。如，21,twenty-one 的序数词为twenty-first ;44,forty-four 的序数词为forty-fourth ，等等)
整十基数变序数，先把ty 变成tie ，th 最后加上去。
(从20开始的的整十变化规则，如，20,twenty 的序数词为twentieth; 30,thirty 的序数词为thirtieth ，等等)
三、日期的读法
October 13th, 读作 October the thirteenth
November 15th, 读作 November the fifteenth
November 22nd, 读作November the twenty-second
四、拼读

中元音[ə:] [ə:]是中央、不圆唇长元音一一舌位:发音时，舌中部向硬愕中部上抬，其高度位中高。舌身与上臼齿有接触，但不紧密；唇形:展唇位，展开的程度与[i:]相同；声带:振动。
