The suffix -ist
后缀-ist
So this suffix is attached to the end of a noun
所以这个后缀附加在名词的末尾
To denote a person that studies something
指研究某事的人
Or takes a particular interest in something
或者对某件事特别感兴趣
So ill give you a few examples of these words

These might be a little bit difficult

But it will help you with your pronunciation

So our first word

Optimist

Now an optimist is somebody who always sees the positive side

Always sees the good side of something

And the opposite of that is
