Ape
ape，通常表示生活在非洲和东南亚的各种大型无尾半直立灵长类动物，如黑猩猩、大猩猩、长臂猿等。
而当 ape 作动词用时，则表示笨拙的模仿。而且这种模仿，通常不是单维度的，而是全方位的。

Fox
fox, 狐狸，以狡猾而出名，而这源于狐狸在民间传说中的形象，比如伊索寓言中“狐狸与乌鸦”的故事。所以在英文中，也有像“sly as a fox”这类的习语。
而当 fox 作动词用时，有“以计谋取胜”、“使…困惑”的意思。

Rat
