Dujiangyan City, which is famous for its beautiful scenery and profound culture, is located in the transition zone between the northwestern part of Chengdu Plain and the Longmen Mountain System of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The city covers an area of 1,208 square kilometers and has 5 sub-district offices and 14 townships with 800,000 inhabitants, which gives birth to an excellent climate and unique humanistic qualities. Dujiangyan City is the only city in the world that possesses two independent World Heritage Sites including the world cultural heritage, Qingcheng Mountain-Dujiangyan and the World Natural Heritage, Sichuan Giant Panda Habitat. In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping's visit to Sichuan, according to the unified arrangement of Chengdu, four parks are now selected in Dujiangyan City and it is planning to recruit first-rate planning and design institutions at home and abroad to carry out conceptual design scheme for the parks with gathering global wisdom, to push our city to be built as an international famous eco-tourism city as soon as possible for contributing Dujiangyan's strength to the full construction of Chengdu's park city. 柏条河郊野公园位于都江堰精华灌区都江堰市核心区范围内。根据成都市的相关要求，我市拟将都江堰精华灌区都江堰市核心区打造成为以都江堰引水工程为主题的涉农公园。以水系渠系为脉络，对都江堰精华灌区核心区（约160平方公里）进行系统规划梳理和开发利用，推进生态文明建设、传承古代中国的水生态智慧、保护世界自然文化遗产、保护和彰显特色农耕文明遗产，按照历史眼光、国际视野、全球一流、成都特色、全域旅游的理念，打造成为世界级的水生态文化典范。
Baitiao River Suburb Park is located within the Dujiangyan’s essence irrigation area in Dujiangyan City. According to the relevant requirements of Chengdu, the Dujiangyan City plans to build the core zone of Dujiangyan's essence irrigation area of Dujiangyan City into an agriculture-related park with the theme of Dujiangyan water diversion project. Taking water system and canal system as the vein, systematic planning, development and utilization of the core zone (about 160 square kilometers) of Dujiangyan essence irrigation area will be promoted to facilitate ecological civilization construction, inherit water ecological wisdom of ancient China, protect the world's natural and cultural heritages, and preserve and demonstrate characteristic farming civilization heritage. In accordance with historical vision, international perspective, world-class standard, Chengdu characteristics, and global tourism concept, a model of world-class water eco-cultural will be created.

本项目柏条河以南、沙西线以北、主城区规划范围线以东、第三绕城以西，占地约为270.9公顷。拓展研究范围为都江堰精华灌区核心区（约160平方公里）。
The project covers an area of 270.9 hectares, locating south of the Baitiao River, north of Shaxi Line, east of the main urban planning area line, and west of the 3rd ring expressway. The expansion research scope is the core zone of Dujiangyan essence irrigation area (about 160 square kilometers).

成都金马河是岷江干流，流经都江堰、温江、双流、新津，全长76.1公里。金马河都江堰主城区段两岸将规划建设万达文旅城、水果侠、滨河特色商业街、世界文化艺术精品中心、黄金博物馆等项目，为滨江新区文化娱乐集聚区的核心区域。
Chengdu Jinma River is the main stream of Minjiang River, flowing through Dujiangyan, Wenjiang, Shuangliu and Xinjin, covering a total length of 76.1km.The two sides of the main Dujiangyan section of Jinma River is planned with the construction of Wanda Culture and Tourism City, Fruit Man, Riverside Characteristic Commercial Street, World Culture and Art Center, Gold Museum, etc., making itself the core area of a riverside new city characterized with culture and entertainment.

灵岩山位于都江堰市主城区北郊，是都江堰市第一批文化地标，属于青城山——都江堰国家级风景名胜区的重要组成部分。其最高海拔为1432米，山麓780米，特殊的地理环境造就了灵岩山独特的自然风貌。山上森林资源丰富，四季花开不败，古木参天，郁郁葱葱，景色幽美。在山顶上，可以俯瞰都江堰水利工程和城区风光。
Located in the northern suburbs of Dujiangyan City's main urban area, Lingyan Mountain is one of the first cultural landmarks in Dujiangyan City. It is an important part of the Qingcheng Mountain-Dujiangyan National Scenic Area. It has an elevation of 1,432m at the peak and foothills of 780m. The special geographical environment results in a unique natural appearance of Lingyan Mountain. There are rich forest resources on the mountain, and flowers blossom one after another throughout the year. The tall and aged tree makes it a quiet and peaceful place for travellers. On the top of the mountain, one can get a bird’s-eye view the Dujiangyan Water Conservancy and urban landscape.
灵岩山公园规划范围内有古老的灵岩寺，这里山美，空气清新，寺庙有灵气，因毗邻主城区城区，前来游玩、烧香拜佛的香客络绎不绝。灵岩山不仅是一座灵山，更是一座翰墨高地，拥有丰富的文物古迹，以及由著名历史学家李源澄先生1945年创建的灵岩书院。灵岩书院成立以后，一大批民国时代的著名学者、国学大师、历史学家、哲学家、红学家、作家等曾到此谈经论道，研讲学术，如南怀瑾、袁焕仙、冯友兰、唐君毅、钱宾四、潘重规、蒙文通、牟宗三、朱自清等。本次规划拟通过进一步挖掘灵岩山的文化内涵，实施都江堰景区灵岩山部分和灵岩书院的修复和整治，将灵岩山公园建成展示中国优秀传统文化的地标。
Lingyan Mountain Park is planned to include the ancient Lingyan Temple, and characterized with beautiful mountain, fresh air, and an aura temple. Adjacent to the main urban areas, a lot of people will come to the temple for sightseeing, incense offering, and Buddhism worshiping. Lingyan Mountain is not only an aura mountain, but also a highland of calligraphy and rich cultural relics. The Lingyan Academy was founded on the mountain by Mr. Li Yuancheng, a famous historian, in 1945. After the establishment of Lingyan Academy, a large number of famous scholars, masters of Chinese studies, historians and writers from the Republic of China came here to discuss the classics and give lectures on academic themes, such as Nan Huaijin, Yuan Huanxian, Feng Youlan, Tang Junyi and Zhu Ziqing. The on-going project aims to further tap the cultural connotations of Lingyan Mountain, implement the maintenance and renovation of Lingyan Mountain and Lingyan Academy in Dujiangyan Scenic Area, and make Lingyan Mountain Park a landmark of excellent Chinese traditional culture.

都江堰是天府之源，滋润整个成都平原都江堰灌区，孕育2000多年水文化。天府源湿地公园是我市践行成都市委“西控”战略，紧扣成都生态涵养地、旅游支撑极功能定位，永葆世界自然文化“双遗产”本色，建设绿色都江堰，构建适应绿色发展的空间体系、产业体系、城乡体系和制度体系，打造“国际生态旅游名城”，争做成都建设全面体现新发展理念的国家中心城市的绿色发展示范区而着力打造的生态湿地公园。其旨在建成都江堰水文化展示区和体验地、生态湿地科普示范区、主客共享的城市休闲游憩新场所。
As the source of Tianfu, Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project nourishes the Dujiangyan Irrigation District in the Chengdu Plain and cultivates 2,000 years of water culture. Tianfuyuan Wetland Park is an ecological wetland park that implements the “West Control” strategy proposed by CPC Chengdu Committee, closely follows the functional orientation of Chengdu’s ecological conservation site and tourism support, maintains the nature of world natural and cultural “double heritage”, constructs a green Dujiangyan, builds “International Ecological Tourism Famous City", and strives to contribute to be the green development demonstration district of Chengdu’s endeavor of building a national central city that comprehensively embodies new development concept. The purpose is to build it into Dujiangyan’s water culture demonstration area and experience site, an ecological wetland science demonstration area, and a new venue for urban leisure and recreation shared by the host and visitors.
