外贸行业可以说门槛低,上手也快,却是一份艰难的工作。为什么会这样说是因为它有“五难”:
It’s not hard to step in foreign trade industry and it’s easy to get started as well. However, it’s still quite a challenging job. Why? Because there are five difficulties you will confront with.
外贸第一难,坚持!
Persistence
进入外贸行业的每一位新同行,都会有那么一个经历,那就是出单好难。往往是过了两三个月,甚至半年,也依然没有一单。看着一起进来或者比自己晚来的同事都有单了,那时候的压力不言而喻。很多人就是这个时候放弃了……
For every newcomer in foreign trade, it’s very common that they can’t get any order through 2-3 months or half a year. Those colleagues have got lots of orders. They will be stressed out. Most of them give up at that time.
外贸第三难,懒惰!
Laziness
人都是有惰性的,尤其是在外贸这个行业里面,惰性更是体现的比较具体。
Most of us are lazy. Especially in foreign trade, laziness is very apparent to see.
比如当客人只给了你一个简单询价的时候,我们当中有相当一部分的人会简简单单的把客人打发了,运气好一点的,还会收到客人的详细一点的回复,然后继续问客人各种等等,最终客人消失不见,然后自己在那边发牢骚。
For example, when customers send a simple inquiry, most of us will unceremoniously do something. If they are lucky enough, they will receive customers’ responds. And they will start to ask customers. Finally, the customers disappear from them. They begin complaining.
通常,碰到这种客人没有明确信息的询价,首先确定是不是钓鱼软件;如果不是,可以给上2-3款比较常规的产品,或者销量比较好的产品的价格给客户,当然,是用提前做好的报价单模式,把该有的各种信息都展示给客户作为一个参考。然后再顺便询问客户,这是不是客户想要的?最后再来根据客户回复的具体信息,进行有针对性的报价。
Generally, facing with such inquiries without concrete information, we should first make sure it’s not from fishing software. If not, we can recommend them 2 or 3 regular products or products that sell like hot cakes. Of course, we should use the prepared quotation mode to present our customers with the information. And we should ask them if that is what they want. In the end, we can make quotations and make quotations according to the information customers provide.
外贸第四难,运气!
Fortune
这是最让人无语无解的一个地方了,但外贸有些时候,还真的是需要一些运气的。如果自我感觉运气毕竟差的人,那还是老老实实多下点苦工吧。
Well, most of you will have nothing to say when seeing this difficulty. However, we do need some fortune in foreign trade. If you feel like you are not a person with good luck, just keep working hard on your work.
外贸第五难,修复!
Recover
对于一份询价,充满希望的报价,制作PI,之后客户却杳无音讯!自信心受到打击,之后就是修复。
For a promising inquiry and quotation, after we complete the PI, it seems that the customer has vanished! After your confidences are cracked, you need to recover.
其实,说来说去,外贸需要就是一个人不断的去努力,去坚持,去思考,去反思。每天都是千篇一律的工作,让人枯燥的乏味。当客人有回复你的时候,这又是一个充满了斗智斗勇的过程,当你成功攻克了一个客户的时候,那种成就感又会让你甘之如饴,就好像你征服了全世界一样。
Actually, after all is said and done, in foreign trade, you need to keep struggling and persisting. It’s necessary to ponder and reflect, though our work never change and remain boring. When customers answer you, you feel like it’s an important battle. When you manage to win a customer, that sense of accomplishment will console you as if you have conquered the world.
外贸并不是一件轻松的活,没有点心理准备的人还是早早放弃了吧。同时,外贸又是一个开阔你的眼界,满足你的征服欲的一份工作,你要是有点野心,想让自己变的更好,那就坚信自己,在外贸的征途中会越走越远吧。
It’s not easy job to do foreign trade. It never is so that if you are not ready for that, I suggest that you give up. Meanwhile, foreign trade is a job that can broaden your horizons and satisfy your desire to conquer. If you are ambitious and want to make your life better, then you should trust yourself that you will have a promising future in foreign trade.
