1.What's the date today?
It'sJanuary17. /Today is January 17.
今天是几号？今天是1月17日。
1.1 What's the date today?为询问日期的句型，意为“今天是几号？”常用答语为“It's/Today is 日期。”
1.2英语中日期的表达法一般都采用月、日、年的顺序。
1.3表示“几日”可以用阿拉伯数字，也可以用序数词，而且习惯上都读序数词。
2.On this day, we have a class party.
在这一天，我们举办一个班级聚会。
2.1某体某天前用on。
2.2have a class party举办一个班级聚会。
3. we have Sports Day at our school.在我们学校举行运动会。
have Sports Day举行运运会
4.We have a basketball game against Class 6 on April 12.
在4月12日，我们和6班有一场蓝球对抗赛。
4.1have a basketball game举办一场蓝球比赛。
4.2against介词，对阵，对抗的意思，常与动词play,fight等连用。
4.3be against (doing)sth.反对……

十二月之后到来的是哪个月份?
come after在……之后到来
come before在……之前到来
6.January is the first month of a new year. 一月是新的一年的第一个月份。
first序数词，第一。
7.Let's look at our class calendar for next year.让我们看看我们下一年的班级日历吧！
7.1look at看，评叛，审视
7.2 next year明年
8. What dates can we mark on our calendar?我们可以在我们的日历上标记什么日子?
8.1mark sth.标记……
8.2on the calendar在日历上。
We can mark our school's Sports Day. 我们可以标记我们的学校的运动会。Sports Day运动会

second第二,third第三，fourth第四，fifth第五，sixth第六，seventh第七

1.1make the present for sb.为某人制作礼物。
1.2a birthday present一份生日礼物。
2.My grandfather forgets his birthday every year.我爷爷每年都忘记他的生日。
2.1forget sth.忘记某事或某物
2.2forget to do 忘记要去做某事。 (未做)
forget doing 忘记做过某事。 (已做)
The light in the office is still on. He forgot to turn it off.办公室的灯还在亮着，它忘记关了。(没有做关灯的动作)
He forgot turning the light off.
他忘记他已经关了灯了。 ( 已做过关灯的动作),

3.1maybe副词，也许，大概。
3.2need to do sth.需要干某事。
need 作为行为动词有人称和数的变化， 后面可接名词、代词、动名词及带to 的动词不定式；可用于肯定句、疑问句和否定句中。
4. How many days are in a month?
一个月中有多少天？
Thirty days have September,April, June and November.九月、四月、六月和十一月有30天。
All the rest have thirty-one.其余的都有31天。
But February is a different one.
It has twenty-eight; that's fine.
A leap year makes it twenty-nine!
但是二月是个不同的月份。
它有28天；那很好。
闰年它有29天!
4.1How many对可数名词的数量提问。
4.2英语的标点符号没有顿号。
4.3the rest其余的，剩余的。如果指代
可数名词，那么后面的谓语动词要用复数形式；如果指代不可数名词，则用单数。
4.4a teap year闰年。
4.5January一月,February二月,March三月,April四月,May五月,June六月,July七月,August八月,September九月,October十月,November十一月,December十二月。
5.When you change a cardinal to an ordinal,you can simple add “th”.
But sometimes “th” doesn't work.
当你将一个基数词变为序数词时，你可以仅仅添加th。但是有时候不遵守th规则。
5.1change sth. to sth.把……变成……
5.2不遵守th规则的序数词
one-first,two-second,three-third,
five-fifth,eight-eighth,nine-ninth
twelve-twelfth,twenty-twentieth.
6.Suppose your mother's birthday is coming.What would you like to give her?假设你妈妈的生日快到了。你想送给她什么?
7.have a birthday present for sb.有一件生日礼物给某人。
8.My mother enjoys reading very much.我妈妈非常喜欢读书。
8.1enjoy (doing)sth.喜欢干什么。
8.2very much非常地。
