Please send me a card 请给我寄一张明信片
Postcards always spoil my holidays. Last summer, I went to Italy. I visited museums and sat in public gardens. A friendly waiter taught me a few words of Italian. 'Then he lent me a book. I read a few lines, but I did not understand a word. Every day I thought about postcards. My holidays passed quickly, but I did not send any cards to my friends. On the last day I made a big decision. I got up early and bought thirty-seven cards. I spent the whole day in my room, but I did not write a single card !

2a.When we ask soneone to do us a favor,we say Please.
3. Well,a postcsrd is different from a letter sent in an envelope(把envelope用起来). Everybody can see and read what you write on a poastcard.
3a.Well,if something spoils something else,it ruins it,it messes it up,it destroys it.
3b.A holiday is a vacation,or a public holiday,like Saturday and Sunday,like Christmas,etc.
4.Well,last summer is the previous summer,or the summer before this summer.
4a. Italy is a small country in Europe(估计很多人要不是通过Italy有“机会”用一用，说一说Europe这个学了好久都没机会用的英语，平时根本不可能有用这个词的语言环境).
5. I visited museums means I paid a visit to measums and sat in public gardens.
6. A friendly waiter is a very nice waiter,a very kind waiter,a kind-hearted waiter.
6a.A waiter works in a restaurant and serves the customers.
6b.When he taught me Italian,he showed me how to read,how to prounance Italian,the language used and spoken in Italy.
7.Then he lent me a book.
Well,when we lend something to someone,they can use it for a while,but must return it to us aftet use.
8. I read a few lines：I read some words in the book.
9.Well,when we do not understand a word,we do not catch any meaning at all,we had no idea of it at all.
10. Every day I thought about postcards means Each day I am concerned/I am worried about writing a postcard.
11. My holidays passed quickly means my holiday went by in a quick wsy.
12.but I did not send/did not mail any cards to my friends.
13.On the last day means On the final day,the only remaining day before my holidsy ends.
14.When I made a big decision,I made up my mind.
15.I got up early：I stopped sleeping and got out of bed early.
16.When we bought thirty-seven cards,we paid for thirty-seven cards.
17.I spent the whole day in my room means I stayed in my room alk the day.
18.I did not write a single card means I did not write any card at all.
