用英语表示“感谢某人做某事”时，可用thank sb to do sth吗？
要表示汉语的“感谢某人做某事”，英语最常用的表达是thank sb for doing sth，但是不能用thank sb to do sth。如：
Thank you for telling me. 谢谢你告诉我。
Thank you so much for coming. 非常感谢你来这里。
I must write and thank her for sending me the check. 我一定写信感谢她给我寄来了支票。
注：有时也可见到thank sb to do sth的用法，但主要用于I will thank you to do sth这样的句式，用于加强请求或命令的语气，原本是为了使语气更客气，但现在常带有气愤或反感之意味，可译为“请”“请你”“我求你”。如：
I will thank you to shut the door. 劳驾把门关上。
I will thank you to mind your own business. 请你少管闲事。
