可分为零冠词，不定冠词，定冠词三种类型
二、零冠词的用法1.用于复数名词表示泛指时
Women always have the last word.
2.用于语言、学科、三餐、球类、棋类等的名词前
English is widely spoken all over the world.
Physics is important in all the subjects.
Breakfast is the first meal in a day.
Football is the most popular game in the world.
Can you play international chess?
3. 用在职位头衔前以及国名地名和其他专用名字前
Dr. Smith, China, Tibet
4. 用在介词by加交通工具结构中
by bus/ train/ plane/ boat
5.用在某些固定搭配里面
husband and wife, young and old, in pencil, at work, in time, on time
三、不定冠词的用法1、用在单数可数名词前，泛指一类人或事物
A whale is the largest animal in the world.
2、第一次提到某人某物
There a man waiting for you at the gate of the school.
3、表示速度或频率，意思是“每一”
We have three meals a day.
4、用在固定搭配里面
once in a while, for a while, once upon a time, as a whole, tell a lie
四、定冠词的用法1、特指某人或某物
This is the house I lived in ten years ago.
2、用于第二次提到的人或物前
There is a boy on the playground. The boy is Tom.
3、用于自然界中独一无二的事物的名词前
The earth goes around the sun.
