Lily被告状咬了别的小朋友，两个爸爸一脸不相信，自己的宝贝女儿怎么会咬人呢？
其实呢，在婴儿1岁左右的时候，喜欢咬东西甚至咬人都是正常的，是这个年龄的小孩探索世界或者表达情感的方式。
“咬”在英语里是bite，相关的有一个很常见的口语表达，“bite me”，其实中文意思就是完全直译“咬我呀”，大部分时候用在吵架中。
How could you just leave? This place is like a war zone. 你怎么能就这么走呢？这里乱得像战场。

一看例句就能完全理解这种这个表达方式的意义。
和bite相关另一个常见的表达方式就是bite the bullet，字面意思是“咬子弹”，但它专门形容要去做一件很困难很痛苦的事情。
When the time comes, I will bite the bullet and take my punishment with grace. 等时机一到，我就会优雅地接受我的惩罚。
要咬当然得用牙齿，和tooth/teeth相关的也有几个很常见的词。
比如：fight tooth and nail，字面意思“斗争到牙齿和指甲都上了”，形容为达到目的付出了巨大的努力。
