梅须逊雪三分白，雪却输梅一段香。
Both plum and snow want to be the Spring Beauty.

The snow is as white as jade.

有梅无雪不精神，有雪无诗俗了人。
日暮诗成天又雪，与梅并作十分春。
Only plum-blossoming without snow is not interesting.
Only snow-spreading without poetry is also boring.
A good poem has just written when snow falls before evening.
Now the three meeting together make up a perfect spring.
