爸爸妈妈和孩子们在院子里浇花，一会儿水桶漏了，一会儿水管漏了，水桶没修好 ，反而爆裂开来，“这真是个棘手的问题”、“这太困难了”。爸爸妈妈反复被水浇得一身湿，水桶和水管都修好了，孩子们又来捣蛋了……
Everyone Got Wet 大家都湿透了
Dad looked at the water butt. the water butt was leaking.爸爸看着雨水桶，雨水桶漏了一个洞，水从洞里面漏了出来。
Mum looked at the hose. The hose was leaking.妈妈看着水管，水管也漏了个洞。
"Oh bother!" said Mum. 哎，真糟糕。
Dad mended the water butt. He put a patch on it.爸爸开始修理雨水桶。他给水桶打了个补丁。
"What a tricky job!" he said. 真是个棘手的工作呀。
The water butt burst. All the water came out.雨水桶裂开了，水都流出来了。
Dad got wet.爸爸浇了一身湿。
Mum mended the host. She put a patch on it .妈妈修理水管。她给水管打了个补丁。
"What a tricky job!" she said. “真难办呀。”
Mum put the hose on the tap. The top of the tap came off. 妈妈把修好的水管接到水龙头上。水管从水龙头上脱落了。
Mum got very wet. 妈妈弄得湿透了。
Dad got a new water butt. He put it on the bricks.爸爸拿来一个新的雨水桶。他把雨水桶支在了几块砖头上。
He got the hose. He filled up the water butt.他拿起水管，往雨水桶里面蓄水。
The water butt fell over.雨水桶翻倒了。
The water poured out. Dad got wet again.水都流了出来。爸爸再次弄得湿透了。
Mum got a new hose. She joined it to the old hose.妈妈拿来新的水管，想把它跟旧的水管接在了一起。
She wanted to water the roses.妈妈想要去浇玫瑰花。
Kipper wanted to help. He turned the tap on.基普想要帮忙，于是他打开了水龙头。
Mum got wet again. "Oh no! " said Mum. 妈妈又一次湿透了。“噢，不”妈妈哀嚎着
The children got the paddling pool. They put it on the grass.孩子们拿来了塑料游泳池。他们把它放在了草地上。
Dad got the new hose. Biff turned on the tap.爸爸拿了一根新的水管。比弗拧开了水龙头。
No water came out of the hose. "Funny!" said Dad.但是水管里没有水流出来。“真是太搞笑了。”
He looked down the hose.爸爸沿着水管看过去，原来是水管打了结，系在了一起。
Oh no! The children got wet.爸爸还没来得及处理，水管爆开了。噢，不。孩子们也都湿透了。
