英语单词中，单词开头的这个con- com- 什么时候念/ɑ/ 什么时候念/ə/，

今天给大家解决这个问题。
拿一个大家熟悉的单词来做讲解。
consider. /kənˈsɪdər/
字母con部分所对应的发音为非重读部分，重读音节在后面，为部分字母si 所对应的发音/sɪ/,
所以，
单词开头非重读部分元音的发音实际上进行了弱化，变成了/ə/.
所以，
contain, compress, 以及文章最开始提到的这几个单词：
congrats, condition, consultation, companion， 大家应该立马就分清了。
多数情况下，只要单词的第一个音节没有重音，con- com- 就会读成 /kən-/ /kəm/
注意这里说的重音 不仅包括重读音节，还包括次重读音节哟。
比如说confidential， /ˌkɑnfəˈdenʃəl/ 开头的con对应的发音虽然不是重读音节所在，但是是次重读音节，所以con 读作/kɑn/, 而不是/kən/。以及前面提到的consultation /ˌkɑnsəlˈteɪʃən/也是同样的。
在单词con- com-开头没有重音的常见单词有这些，
consistent, concern, conclude, confirm,
confused, congratulations, connect, continue,
contribute, control, convince, consider
contain, congrats, condition, concern,
compress, combine, committee, compare,
companion, command, commute, community
communication, computer, complain, complete,
compose, compete
在单词con- com- 开头有重音(重读音节或次重读音节）
的常见单词有这些,
confident, conscious, concert, concentrate,
constant, consonant, contribution, contact,

comparable, complicated, compliment, complement,
comma, competition
