The Mosquito and the Lion
《蚊子和狮子》
A mosquito flew to the lion and said to the lion:
"Everybody says you are the strongest animal in the world!"
一只蚊子飞到狮子身边对狮子说：
“大家都说你是世界上最强壮的动物！”
"Yes." The lion said.
"Not only am I strong, but I also have sharp teeth."
“是的。”狮子说。
“我不但很强壮，我还有锋利的牙齿。”
"Well... but I m not afraid of you!" The mosquito said.
"I want to challenge you! And I will win! "
“恩...但我并不害怕你！”蚊子说。
“我要挑战你！而且我一定会赢！”
"You won t win!" The lion laughed and said.
"I am a thousand times stronger than you!"
“你一定不会赢的！”狮子笑着说道。
“我比你强壮一千倍！”
"Here I am!" Cried the mosquito.
And fly to the lion s face.
“我来了！”蚊子叫道，
并朝狮子的脸飞去。
The mosquito landed on the lion s nose and bit him again and again.
The lion tried to reach his teeth at the mosquito, but the mosquito was too small.
蚊子落在狮子的鼻子上，一次又一次地咬他。
狮子想把牙齿伸向蚊子，但蚊子太小了。
"I give up!" said the lion.
"Please don t bite me anymore."
“我投降！我投降！”狮子说。
“不要再咬我啦！”
"I won!" Cried the mosquito.
But when it flew away, it had no good direction.
Accidentally flew into the spider s web, unable to move.
“我赢了！”蚊子喊道。
但它飞走时没有看好方向，
一不小心飞到了蜘蛛网里，动弹不得。
"That s strange," thought the mosquito.
"I defeated the strong lion.
But a little spider can beat me.
“真奇怪，”蚊子想。
“我打败了强壮的狮子，
但一只小小的蜘蛛却能打败我。”
