cost,spend,pay,take的用法区分
4个单词在含义上都可以有花费的意思，但用法不同。
区别在于用法不一样，有的主语只能是人，而有的必须是形式主语。
1. cost
表示花费，主语付出的代价，经历，时间等，主语只能是物或者某种活动，不能是人
a.This necklace costs me 1,000 dollars.
这个项链花费了我1000美元。
b.The work cost her a lot of care.
这项工作使她付出了很多精力。
2.spend
a.当spend表示花费时间，金钱时，行为主体只能是人
I spent 5 days on reading this novel.
我花了五天时间来读这本小说。
b.当表示“度过”的含义时：
How do you spend your holiday？
你是怎么度过假日的？
3.pay
支付，付钱的意思，行为主体也是人，常和介词for搭配
How much did you pay for the car.
买这辆车花费了多少？
4.take
表示花费时，主语一般采用形式主语，即"it"，或者是“it”具体指的某件事情，真正的主语是动词不定式
It took me two dollars to buy the book.
买这本书花了我2美元。
