Grow:

Grow可以用来讨论很多事情，如植物、动物、头发、人、城市、队伍、销售、或一个国家的人口等等，形容长大、长高、变长或体积或规模或数量增加。
e.g.
1.The plants grow./We’re growing plants. (bigger, taller)
植物长大了/我们种植植物。
2.Our hair grow./We’re growing our hair. (longer)
头发长长了/我们留头发。
3.The sales have grown 20% in the first quarter. (increase in number)
