原版英语阅读：一次性塑料吸管年底将禁 Undegradable plastic
“互联网 ”时代学英语其实很简单，无非就是通过“不同的英语”重复“同样的动作”：查英英字典没有？把查到的英英字典作为用英语学英语没有？
不管学什么英语，“读”什么英语，日积月累地“万变不离其宗”，做的都是同样一件事，不断重复这两个“技术动作”，我们的英语也就“出师”了。
而“用”中文“学”英语就是“东一榔头西一棒”，“不抱团”的无效作为：难怪学习多年英语最后还是“只会说英语，不会用英语”的结果。
比如，“读”下面这篇国内高中水平的“原版英语”时，你都做了什么？查英英字典没有？练习用英语学英语没有？
一、英语
China will ban non-degradable single-use plastic straws by the end of 2020. Experts say that although it takes only a few minutes to use and dispose of a plastic straw, it can take up to 500 years for plastic straws to degrade.
二、英语阅读：边读边“说”英语的英语阅读
“英语阅读”就是“说”英语的“阅读”，不是“说”中文的“英语阅读”。
限于篇幅，这里省略所有查英英字典的环节，大家可以输入(比如)：ban meaning，就可以查到不同英英字典对同一个词汇解释的不同用词。
1) China will ban non-degradable single-use plastic straws
1.Ban:Okay.I got you.If you ban someone,you do not allow him to do something.You prohibit him,you forbid him,you prevent him from doung something.
2.Okay.I got you.If you ban something,you do not allow something to be used.
英语阅读就是要你“读”时能“说”类似这样的英语(我说类似，是因为不同的人说话肯定不一样)，“读”英语ban“说”中文“禁止”，这不叫“阅读”，而是叫“记”英语生词。
3.degrade:
Okay.I got you.If something degrades,or is degradeable,it can break down into small parts and can be absorbed by the soil.
Fruits degrade.Food degrades.Wood degrades or is degradable.Paper degrades.But plastis,or glass do not degrade easily.
说不出，记不住这些英语，英语阅读只会“说”中文“降解”，不会带来英语口语的提高。
4.single-use:
If something is for single-use,it is a throw-away,or disposable(见下文) such as single-use chopsticks,or throw-away chopsticks.We use the for only once and thrwo them into the trashcan.
你的英语阅读能练到这样“说”英语否？总是“说”中文，不叫“英语阅读”。

总之，无论你“读”什么英语，“读”多少英语，它都是一次次让你的英语与英语之间“互通”的阅读，不是“英汉互通”的阅读，不是用中文“读懂”的阅读。只有这样的英语阅读才不会是完成“哑巴英语”的阅读。
