一、单词记忆
这个单词的原始含义是“条状物”，然后用来刺的东西都是一些细细长长的条状物，所以这个单词也有“刺，戳”的意思。然后一个东西串在另一个东西上，这两个东西就“粘”在一起了，比如羊肉串。
这个单词本身就是一个词根，其实这个词根我们小学时候就见过了，ticket，“票”这个单词，这个单词是由两部分组成的，前面的tick就相当于stick，字母s被省略了，后面的et是一个名词后缀，表示“小东西”。那票和stick之间有什么联系吗？这里其实用的是“刺，戳”这个含义，现在都是电子票，所以有些同学不知道，其实以前的纸制票都是要检票的，检票就是在票上面戳个洞（也有人为了省事，就撕个口子。）所以ticket，被戳了个洞的小东西，就是“票”。从票这个单词我们就可以记住stick，“条状物；粘；刺”。
