Recently, I was taking the subway to work and as I looked around, it struck me that none of my fellow commuters was reading paperback books (also known as analog books). It seemed like everyone was reading on their smartphones. And I wondered: “Will paperback books be completely obsolete soon?”
E-books are definitely more convenient. A mobile phone is smaller and lighter than a book. Plus you only need one finger to scroll smoothly down your screen. You can choose from a variety of books, whenever you want. But spend too much time reading on your phone screen, and your eyes may start to feel quite uncomfortable.
