Julia Donaldson（朱莉娅·唐纳森），英国当代著名儿童作家。
45岁（1993年）才开始儿童绘本创作，短短几年就功成名就，囊括了儿童文学领域的诸多重要奖项，之后十多年，一直保持着强劲旺盛的创作水准。
她的作品被翻译成70多种文字，畅销全球，图书累计销量上千万册，2011年，Julia Donaldson当选为英国2011-2013年度children's Laureate（儿童文学桂冠作家）。
Julia的几本经典儿童绘本：《The Gruffalo》，《The Gruffalo's Child》， 《Room on the Broom》， 《The Snail and the Whale》，《A Squash and a Squeeze》，《The Smartest GIANT in Town》，《Tiddler》等等，都是与插图画家Axel Scheffler的合作，这些作品长期占据英国儿童图书畅销书排行榜前列。
